Through my paintings I seek to capture the essence of an authentic emotional connection - the dynamism of an extended moment - whether my subject be a person, or place. By harnessing the creative energy that flows between artist and subject, I strive to paint works that are intimate, yet sympathetic. I want my subjects to be “seen”. My paintings are a celebration of them. Nothing brings me more joy than to paint a loved one or memorable place that will be cherished for a lifetime, passed down for generations to enjoy.
