About SBL
Sarah Beth Lundblad’s earliest childhood memories are of finding a quiet space to draw and paint. Drawn to the visual language of paint from a young age, she found it gave her a unique way of seeing the very essence of a person and the world around her in high definition.
Sarah tried to do the sensible thing, graduating with first class honours from Brunel University to pursue a successful career in industrial design. However, her desire to paint prevailed, and during a Masters at Central St Martins, she resolved to return to her studio full-time.
Today, Sarah takes on regular portrait commissions alongside her urban landscape painting. She is always honing her practice as an artist at her studios in North London, where she is based. When not working on a portrait, Sarah can be found painting en plein air along the Regent’s Canal – a favourite spot for her and her young daughters to paint.
Her work is widely exhibited at art fairs and galleries in the UK and beyond.
