Illustration Workshop at Thornhill Primary School, Thornhill Rd, London N1 1HX

Celebrating world book day Kate Slotover and I gave an illustration workshop with Year 3 at Thornhill School. The kids learned to make an origiami booklet, created a character and thought about some aspects of the character. Learned about how book illustrators work, and how they work with writers. Gained a sense of the variety of illustrations. Been left with an idea that they could go off and develop a story about their character.
